General Terms & Conditions – Using Northamptonshire Analysis

Northamptonshire Analysis is maintained for your personal use and viewing. The site is maintained by Northamptonshire County Council (Business Intelligence & Project Management). The disclaimers contained within these terms and conditions refer to this website and apply to each visitor to our website. Access and use of this site by you constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This takes effect from the date of first use.

Privacy Policy

This statement sets out our policy in relation to holding and using of information which we may obtain from you during your use of Northamptonshire Analysis.

If you visit Northamptonshire Analysis as a public user just to read or download information you do not have to give us any personal data about yourself and we will collect and store only the following information about your visit:

  1. The name of the domain from which you access the Internet, and the Internet Protocol (IP) address or host name, which does not usually identify a specific computer.
  2. The date and time you access our site.
  3. The pages you visit.
  4. The Internet address of any website from which you linked directly to our site. If you wish to access the restricted content and information you will need to apply for a log-in. This will enable users to access data and information which is not available via general public access.

We will collect personal data for the purposes of creating a log-in for you only if you specifically and knowingly provide it through using the electronic request form on the Northamptonshire Analysis site. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

Data access rights to views and data are controlled by Northamptonshire Analysis Instant Atlas Server Administrators who need to belong to in an IAS Administrators group. Administrators have their own unique user name and passwords to log on to the Northamptonshire Analysis Instant Atlas Server Administrator Site. Data access rights are controlled by the web services tier which apply restrictions on what data is returned to the end client (or a “higher” tier in the IAS web application). Any personal or sensitive data passed between systems is done securely via 128 bit encryption.

Can I turn cookies off?
